I mentioned in an earlier post that I am a big fan of orange for this summer season, so I thought I'd share a couple of my favorite orange discoveries!
The Striped Day Dress from Anthropologie is a bright summer dress that comes in three colors - red (orange), navy and black. I bought the navy motif, though like the "red" version it does not reflect it's name. The "red" is two shades of orange - I've seen it in person and can testify to this (it're really pretty too)...and the "navy" is a jeans-blue and light turquoise (also a pretty combo).
I find it a little funny that this dress is called the Coral Gardens Dress and then the description describes it as red! This is another one that I think has a bit of a misnomer and is really more coral and orange than truly red...or red at all! Made to be a comfortable throw-on-and-go outfit, this dress has a feminine and yet practical design, with the handy inclusion of side pockets!
The Color Block Stripe Roll Sleeve Tee from Hot Mama is a cute baseball tee with a colorful flare, perfect for a casual day when you're looking for something bright and cheerful!
Tank top not included, the chiffon Diamond Blouson Chiffon Top, also from Hot Mama, looks really cute and flattering with the navy tank worn underneath. I think it would look really good with a pair of jeans for a date night or an evening out with the girls.
Maurices had some good orange finds right now too! The first is the High-Low Chiffon Paisley Print Top. Light and bright, this seems like it would be a lot of fun to wear on a summer evening.
They also have some festive jewelry! The Pink and Orange Bauble Necklace, the Faceted Bead With Link Necklace and the Double Teardrop Earrings are all good orangey options!
