For all you Capaldi fans...

A Doctor Who group on Facebook posted this music video a few days ago. Peter Capaldi (the 12th Doctor) stars in the music video for his distant cousin Lewis Capaldi’s latest single, "Someone You Loved."

I've listened to it at least a couple dozen times since running across it. While I don't support the concept of the video (if I'm correctly interpreting that it's about a heart transplant), Capaldi's performance is quite touching. It's also impressive how much story they could express in a 4 minute video. The song itself, separate from the video, is very emotional all on its own.

I read some of the comments on Facebook, on how moving it was for those who have lost someone to a terminal illness...but I think it's poignant for those struggling with any type of grief.  I definitely shed a few tears.

I've listened to a few other Lewis Capaldi's songs now and am a fan. I even bought one of his albums. He does an incredible job conveying emotion in his voice and songs. "Someone You Loved" is still my favorite. While the music video for "Grace" is...interesting...the song is great (I like the acoustic version too). Fade, Mercy, Tough and Rush are also rather meaningful at the moment.
