Couple of "housekeeping" things. I think it's going to take me a bit to get back into the swing of posting. I wanted to make sure I posted something today...I didn't want to mess up on week two. :)
I will most likely be using my new Tablet (thanks, Mom!) when posting, so the format may be a little hinky at first, so please bear with me.

Tired of all of those surveys made up by high school kids? Have you ever kissed someone? Missed someone? Told someone you loved them? Drank alcohol? Here you have 39 questions for the people who are a little older...Tag me when you finish...
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Car payment...its the biggest bill I have...Car insurance. It keeps going up for no reason.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
I'd need someone to have a romantic dinner with for this question to be answerable... :) Romantic dinner as in the ambiance was romantic? Or that the company was?
3. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Sleeping...Still sleeping...but reading comes in close second. Ooh, or traveling. I'm always up for that.
4. How many colleges did you attend?
Technically four...Union College for Inorganic Chemistry as a senior in HS...Southeast Community College for Freshman and Sophomore years of college...UNL for a summer class...and Benedictine College for Junior and Senior year of college. Same, since I have not added any institutions of higher learning to my resume.
5. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
Because its festive and Christmas-y... Because it makes my hair look pretty (caramel colored sweater) and because I could wear it with leggings and boots. Yay boots! :)
6. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
They are too high because of all the taxes the government slaps on them... Not too bad at the moment, though the ethanol subsidies annoy me.
7. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
"Is it really 5:40am already? Seriously?" Thank God I don't have to get up that early anymore! Yay for a spot in the parking lot! :) Now my first thought tends to be "Uuuuuugh."
8. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
"Why is it taking so long to fall asleep?" Hmm...not sure. Probably something along the lines of bemoaning how early I have to get up.
9. Do you miss being a child?
Sometimes...life was less complicated...though I'd never willingly go through my teen years again! There are plenty of things I miss. Comparatively my teen years weren't so bad.
10. What errand/chore do you despise?
Dusting! Ditto!!
11. Get up early or sleep in?
Oh hell, sleep in!! Have you ever met me?! :) Some things never change. :)
12. Have you found real love yet?
Dunno...if I have, he hasn't found me back yet! :) Ooh, I read that as "found your real love yet?"...Have I found real love yet? No, 'cause I don't even have fake love at the moment! :) Does real love of bacon, mac n' cheese, fluffy blankets, hot tea and sleeping in count? Then yes.
13. Favorite lunch meat?
Chicken? Still chicken, I guess.
14. What do you get every time you go into Target?
Hmm...Zyrtec (allergy meds)... Haven't shopped there since...last April? I think that's when the boycott started.
15. Beach or lake?
probably lake, as long as its Lake Tahoe! :D While the beach is tempting, a cabin in the mountains sounds awesome.
16. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
Hahaha...no. Nope
17. Sopranos or Desperate Housewives?
Neither...House or Bones, please! Good God, still neither! How is that an adult questions?!
18. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
Peter Kreeft...his books are so witty, I'd like to see if he's the same in person as on paper! Aiden Aiden, Aiden, Aiden, Aiden Turner. (yes, I did write his name 5 times so I could link more pictures) :D
19. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
Nope...thank God! Does backing up into a parked car count?
20. Ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?
Nope...have managed not to start any unintended fires so far... :) No...though I'd love to use it for an unintended purpose. :)

Some crappy pre-set ring that was already on my phone... Counting Stars by OneRepublic
22. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
Umm...the bathroom at work? Still a bathroom
23. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
I dunno...I've been to all the cool places in California (and there are a lot of them)! Now that I'm over 21 (way over), staying in Napa and touring vineyards would be fun.

Of course :) Yup
25. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
New relationship... New relationship? I guess? A new career would be cool assuming it's something I actually like doing.

27. Do you have a "go to" person?
Sort of...depends on the situation. Still rather situational. My best friend, mom and "work wife" are who I talked to about things.
28. Are you where you want to be in life?
Can't say that I am ('cause it would be a lie!)...but have yet to figure out where it is that I AM supposed to be... Nope.
29. Growing up, what were your favorite cartoons?
Magic School Bus...Arthur. Beauty & The Beast and Sleeping Beauty (if movies count)
30. What about you do you think has changed the most?
My personality...and the length of my hair... Routine. Number of books I read in a year. Hair length again (it's so long now!).
31. Looking back at high school, were they the best years of your life?
No...though there were some good times scattered in there :) Best? No. They weren't too bad either though. Well, not freshman year. That was a tough year.
32. Are there times you still feel like a kid?
Haha...ooh yes. Eh...not really. There are times when I don't feel like I'm adulting very well, but not to the level of feeling like a kid again.
33. Did you ever own troll dolls?

35. Where was the hang out spot when you were a teenager?
My house, mostly... Same. Can't really change the past. :)
36. Were you the type of kid you would want your children to hang out with?
In grade school? Absolutely...I was a good little girl....In high school? Yeah...I never really got into any trouble in HS....Now? depends on how old these imaginary kids of mine are... :) Mostly just yes. :)
37. Who do you think impacted your life the most?
My friends...hi guys! :) My mom and best friend. They're the people I spend the most time with one-to-one basis.
38. Was there a teacher or authority figure that stood out for you?
My teachers and authority figures were always the same people...my parents! :) I had a teacher at Southeast Community College - Nikki Isemann - who was pretty great. I enjoyed her classes so much, I took almost all of them...which is why I got stuck being a PoliSci major. :)
39. Do you tell stories that start with “when I was your age”?
Every once in a while...which makes me feel really old...its terrible... Not really. I've found myself telling "fifteen or twenty years ago" stories...which is so much worse.

Well hi there! Can't believe it's mid-Feb already. I know you've been busy busy with this Session in full swing but just wanted to say thanks for the posts- I always find them interesting and fun!
