- I have a wedding to attend on Saturday and I still need to buy a wedding gift, get a pedicure and figure out what the heck I'm going to wear. I've been feeling very bleh lately, so everything I've tried on so far has felt unattractive and dowdy.
- I've had several books arrive in the last week. Amazon Prime will be the death of me (well, my bank account), because when I see a book I want for $5 and free shipping, why not order it? Right? One of my recent purchases was Torchwood: Exodus Code by John Barrowman (one of my celebrity crushes) and his sister Carole. I've been refraining from posting this picture with that highly necessary caption. Incidentally, I am open to other suggestions. :)
- My "On This Day" on FB says that I was headed to Denver four years ago today for the Il Divo concert. Since then I've also seen Josh Groban up in Red Rocks (outside of Denver). I was hoping to make it out for the Brantley Gilbert concert in RR or the David Cook concert at the Marquis Theatre in Denver this year, but couldn't quite pull it off. I am going to see The Piano Guys in Omaha next month and Maroon V at PBA in October...both should be very entertaining in their own ways. :) I'm hoping to find someone to go with me to the Kris Allen concert in December. It's so far away that most people aren't making plans yet, but I'm a little worried it will sell out because the venue is so small. I'm tempted to just buy two tickets and then try to find someone to go with me once we're closer to December.
That's about all I've got for now.
