Inaugural Ball

Life is still nuts, so this short post is being written between moments of insanity.

"The name's Quintero...Matthew Quintero."

Saturday night was Governor Ricketts' Inaugural Ball. I've been looking forward to it since it was announced...even (finally!) renting a dress from Rent the Runway for the event. Our whole family went and it turned out to be a very nice evening. Matt and dad wore tuxes...mom had a new dress and I loved the one I got from RTR. The food was very good and the program was both nice and short. We didn't stay too late and went for drinks at Dino's afterwards because Matt ended up having to go into work (the other manager got violently ill at the last minute)...which made him the best dressed manager Dino's has ever had (he was still wearing the tux). :)

Yesterday and today have been crazy at work. I'm slowly catching up on the paperwork, but still don't have a phone, which is a pain in the neck. On the plus side, as of this morning Senator Kolterman finally has a chair in his office...

Wish me luck and sanity! Friday can't get here soon enough!
