Another post just for the ladies...

Gentlemen, you have been warned. :)

I'm rather uncomfortable talking about "that time of the month." I hate commercials that have anything to do with it and it's about the last thing I feel like talking about, especially when there are dudes around. It's uncomfortable, painful and obnoxious to deal with, especially when you make a concerted effort to act normal around humanity during those 4-6 days a month when your body feels like it's going to implode. Ibuprofen is my friend and drug-of-choice on bad days. Wendy's chocolate frosties also help for some reason. I'm sure it's purely psychological, but I'm fine with that as long as it still helps. :)

I ran across a few diet related tips for helping lessen the horribleness that is PMS and thought I'd share. In addition to the suggestions listed below, another helpful tidbit is that taking vitamin B complex can also help alleviate PMS symptoms. Taking 50-100 mg a day of Vitamin B6 & B12 (hence why taking a B complex is a good idea) can really help for some women. Sadly I am not one of them, but I know a lot of people who it has really helped. There are other supplements that can help too, such as Vitamin E and Magnesium. They are not cure-alls, but can help make things less awful.

Alright, back to food-food help...as opposed to vitamin-food help. :)
