Happy Halloween!
Most people know this is pretty much my favorite holiday...well, after Christmas...so I've really been looking forward to it! :) I love dressing up...making fall/halloween foods...eating candy...what's not to like, right?
I was thinking about various costumes I've assembled the past few years, which have included (but are not limited to):
- Amy Lee from Evanescence (specifically from her "Call Me When You're Sober" music video - black dress, red cape...sadly my hair was still really short back then)
- Abby from NCIS (something along these lines)
- A pirate...though everyone always thought I was a gypsy.
- Gloria from Modern Family (snug A-line black dress, big bright jewelry, high heels...lots of fun)
- Amy Pond from Doctor Who (fashioned after the Vincent Van Gogh episode...I bought a red wig and everything) :D
- And this year, Batman! :)

In honor of Halloween there have been lots of posts on Facebook about vampires, zombies and other scaries...so I decided to include my personal favorite of the day:
I think #2 is my favorite - zombies in the Southwest US (or anywhere really hot & dry) would basically turn into mummies, until they wither away to nothing....or #3, that because the human body is mostly made up of water, that they'd turn into immobile popsicles in the freeeezing cold...which
means in the case of a zombie apocalypse, I need to move to Phoenix or Anchorage. :)
Ooh, and be sure to check out Google.com today...their banner turns into an interactive game! :)
