Bucket List: Gordon Ramsay restaurants - Las Vegas

Bucket List

The entries on my "Bucket List" are in no particular order.

I've been a big fan of the Gordon Ramsay cooking shows, especially Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef and Kitchen Nightmares.  After watching several seasons of Hell's Kitchen, I've looked into getting tickets for the show (to eat or at least try to eat a meal they prepare in an episode...but it's nearly impossible) and it made me really want to eat at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants.

And then I thought...why just one? Why not three, in Las Vegas? I want to visit there anyway (technically, another item on my bucket list)...so why not have a "goal" while I'm there, other than to attend a couple shows?

Scallops and Risotto are two of the food items I have to try. After watching chefs mess those two items up on Hell's Kitchen so consistantly, it makes me want to see what all the fuss is about!

Below are Ramsay's three restaurants in Vegas. Some day I will visit all three. Until then, they're the first entry on my Bucket List!

Amuse Bouche – Scotch Egg
berkshire pork sausage, red wine braised cabbage

First Course – Spring Vegetable Salad
fennel seared ahi, pea shoots, asparagus, candied rhubarb

Second Course – Mushroom Risotto
seared scallop, spring mushroom risotto, mushroom puree

Third Course - Roasted Beef Wellington
glazed root vegetables, potato puree, red wine demi glace

Dessert Course – Blueberry Tarts
brown butter filled blueberry tarts, vanilla bean anglaise, warm blueberry compote, citrus infused vanilla ice cream, mirco mint

The Gordon Ramsay BurGR menu takes the traditional burger, fries and milkshake comfort food combination to an entirely new level with selections like pork belly bao buns, sweet potato fries with vanilla powdered sugar and pudding shakes—a heavenly combination of thick milkshake and silky pudding.

Damn. Now I'm hungry.
