Favorite Things 2023

I received an email with their editor's list of favorite purchases so far in 2023 and thought I'd put together one of my own. I'm not sure why some of the pictures are cut off, but I haven't found a way to fix it, so it is what it is. 

This is a repeat purchase, but it's worth including since I did in fact buy more in the last month or so. 😊 I've tried a couple eye creams and gels over the years and this one is still my favorite. 

TruSkin Eye Gel Advanced Formula, Plant Based with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E - $21.56

I needed some new earbuds for work and landed on these. They're user friendly, comfortable, have good sound and are reasonably priced. I liked them so much I bought a second pair for home. Actually - I bought the TOZO T9 to keep in my room, but wanted a pair for the first floor (#firstworldproblems) and liked the T6 better, so got the second set to keep in the kitchen. 

TOZO T6 True Wireless Earbuds - $26.99

I caught this on an Amazon lightning sale for $19.95. It's very comfortable and breathable, which is great for summer. I don't own a lot of pink, so decided to get this color instead of something solid or darker.

WOOSEA Women Sleeveless Deep V Neck Loose Plain Long Maxi Casual Dress - $25.99

I bought a backless bra for the first time a while back and loved it. They're cooler since there's less fabric involved and you don't have to deal with straps or the band showing across your back. The biggest downside is since they're adhesive they obviously have a shorter shelf life than normal bras, so I needed to find a replacement for mine. I'm trying to buy fewer things made in China, so this is made in the USA with imported fabrics, which was as close as I could manage. So far, big fan.

NuBra Women's Feather Lite Bra - $38

I've found myself wearing more dresses this summer, which is why there are so many on this list. 😁 This one is really comfortable and doesn't wrinkle, which is awesome. It's nice enough to wear to work, but doesn't feel work-y.

GAP Factory - Sleeveless Splitneck Mini Dress - $27.49 (on sale)

I have this one in two colors  - I'm wearing the Rich Teal right now! I bought the teal after I liked the black version so much. They have pockets, which is always awesome, and can be dressed up or down. 

Maurice's - Ever Go Black Zipper Neck Mini Dress - $19.95 & $22.98, depending on the color (on sale)

I love this t-shirt because it's black AND colorful, which can be a hard combo to find. 😊 I like my tees longer, typically ordering "tall" from places like Old Navy and Gap, but this was fine in the "normal" length. 

Maurice's - California Poppies Graphic Tee $19.90

I can't make a list of favorite things without including at least a couple items from Express. 😎 I just wore this to a wedding last weekend. It's lined, comfortable and a little moody, which I like. I wore a light sweater over it, but it's flattering on its own too.

Express - Floral V-Neck Tiered Maxi Dress $58.80 (on sale)

Another great one to dress up or down, this is probably the heaviest non-formalwear dress I've ever owned. And I say heavy in a good way - it's lined, feels hearty and doesn't wrinkle. It was perfect for a fancy girls night out a couple weeks ago.
