No, I don't have a problem. Why do people keep asking me that?! 😂
In case you didn't know, I'm a big fan of Josh Groban. BIG. Like, I've seen him perform in concert...5 times now? Once in Omaha, twice at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison and once at the Pepsi Center in Denver. I feel like I'm forgetting a location, but I'm probably just thinking about when I got to see him perform in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet on Broadway in 2016. See photos from the night below. 😊

| "We got a few perks where we were sitting for #TheGreatComet. They brought around mini perogis before the play started and handed out shaking noisemakers part way thru the play. Several times during the play the ensemble cast members used a wooden box between mom & I to perform from, leaving the note one of the times (during the song "Letters"). We didn't open it till we got back to the hotel. Super cheesy, but pretty funny. Wonder who was stuck writing it. |
Anywho, Josh recently announced that he'll be "in residency" at Radio City Music Hall and has scheduled four "Great Big Radio City Show" events - Feb. 14, April 18th, June 20th and Sep. 26th. Apparently the shows will feature special segments, guest stars and performers, and a concert performance. No two shows will be the same.
I'm happy to announce that I am the proud owner of tickets for one of the shows. 😎 I'd assumed it would be a while before I saw him perform again, since his Bridges Tour is wrapping (has wrapped?) up and I just saw him in August...but it's hard to pass up the chance to see him in NYC at Radio City Music Hall. It's such a great, small venue. I was there for the first time in 2017, attending The Script concert that happened to be the same night we flew back from Ireland (in celebration of my folks 35th anniversary). I got a last minute ticket, picking one on the aisle. I'd seen The Script perform before and knew the lead singer liked running out in the crowd...which he did again. I had a choice - get a picture/video of him speeding down the aisle past me or enjoy the moment screen-free. As he got closer, I popped my phone in my pocket...which turned out to be the right decision, since I managed to high-five him as he ran past!!
Anyway, since I've snagged my pre-sale tickets already (and you can't steal my seats), I can share the pre-sale code - JGFC19.
Anyone else attending one of the shows? Or any other fun concerts next year?

Turns out the comment I sent never went through because, of course, I wasn't logged in! Rats! So- I said... THANKS for bringing back wonderful memories. The Great Comet was indeed AWESOME and I'm so glad I got to go with you! Thank you again and again. The most recent Red Rocks Concert was great- no surprise! Thanks for that too!
