#PSL!!

For those of us who wait (not so) patiently for Starbucks to unveil their Pumpkin Spice Latte, the wait is over! A lovely email graced my inbox last night with a link to a "fan pass" that allows for early access (starting today!) to the beloved PSL. Once you click on the link, you put in the password (Pumpkin, lol) and then provide your cell number (because nothing is truly free) and they will text you your fan pass.

Or you can just ask for a Pumpkin Spice Latte and - at least going through the drive thru - they'll just give it to you without even asking about the fan pass. :)

While I'm excited for Starbucks PSL being available, I am also looking forward to sampling Paneras and Scooters variations. Once Scooters actually produced the best PSL of the three...but then changed the formula again the next year and wound up back in third place. Paneras usually comes in a solid second no matter who winds up in first.

Now if only the weather would get with the program and more fall-like! It should be illegal to be September and still in the 90s! Aaargh!

Song of the day: The Resolution by Jack's Mannequin popped up on Pandora yesterday evening, which got me poking around Youtube listening to other Jack's Mannequin songs. I eventually stumbled on The Mixed Tape, which was the first song by Jack's Mannequin I ever heard. Turns out, I'm still a fan.

Later in the evening (while I was working on this), Landon Pigg's "Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop" came on. It was too perfect - given the PSL post - and so you're getting a second song of the day! And this music video is one of my all time favorites. Enjoy! :)
