Sadly I have nothing special to report today. I didn't go see Kingsmen: The Secret Service over the weekend...but I am going tonight, so Fridays post will be a review. I ended up seeing Seventh Son on Saturday, which was just eh. It wasn't bad, but it's not really worth seeing in theaters unless you really like one of the leads - Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes or Julianne Moore. At the very least it sort fulfilled my "explosion requirement" for a Valentine's Day movie...by way of a couple incensed dragons.
Thanks to IMDB posting the trailer today, I now know what I'm going to see for my birthday - Guillermo del Toro's new movie, Crimson Peak. Not only is it written and directed by one of my favorite directors, but it's starring Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam and Jessica Chastain. And it comes out on October 16th. So yay. :)
Ooh, and happy Mardi Gras!
