First, I left my iPod Classic on an airplane. When I first figured it out, I though for sure someone would turn it in. Who would want an old clunky iPod with no touch screen or wireless capabilities? Right? Within a couple of days I noticed articles/posts online about how used Classics were selling for more than new iPods, since Apple had announced they weren't making them anymore. Stupid supply and demand. So me thinks Bubbles (the iPod) was lost to eBay. :(
The first day of session, I made the mistake of leaving my laptop in the car. Normally, not a huge deal...but that particular day was arctic-ly cold, which meant the LED in the screen literally froze. Since then I've turned it into a "desktop"...the guts of the laptop were fine, so I set it up in the basement and attached a monitor to it and voila! It mostly works again! I'm still bummed about having to spend over $500 on a new laptop, though. Bleh.
And the latest electronics fail...my cellphone. I'd been having "normal" trouble with it in my new (interior) office...having almost no reception for calls and texts coming in anywhere from 5-60 minutes late...and then I dropped it. Hard. On the wood floor in mom's office. I've dropped it before and it was fine. This last time, not so much. I could have gotten it repaired for about $179, but decided to just pony up and get a new phone instead. I've had this one (Samsung Galaxy S4) for almost two years and have been wanting to upgrade to the Galaxy S5 ever since it came out. So after an event yesterday, I stopped AT&T and upgraded to an S5. I decided to go the monthly payment route, since it doesn't cost more in total and it means I don't have to cough up another $600+...which would kill me because next month the registration on my car is due, which is another $400 bill.
I hate money...or rather, the lack thereof.
Anywho...that's my exciting news of the week, other than I have the house to myself tonight and plan to binge watch The Blacklist and Gotham! :)
Enjoy and happy Friday!

I had an old iPod stolen from my car a few months ago. Now I know why they took it. I thought it was rather ridiculous too considering how old it is and the condition it was in. Frustrating, though, because it had all my good workout music on it.
