I've always been a fan of OPI nail lacquer...it's more expensive than regular store brands, like Revlon or Maybelline, but is better quality and always has great colors - such as Muir Muir On The Wall (part of the San Francisco Collection from last fall). A nice brown burgundy, it's subtle and blends with whatever you're wearing instead of being an extra pop of color...so if bright and eye-catching is what you're looking for, Muir Muir probably isn't for you.
If you have an Ebates.com account, you can order Muir Muir for $9 with a 15% cash back from Ulta.com. It's also $6.58 with free shipping on Amazon.com through the OPI store.
