Oilfield Slang - Organic Industrial Decor

I'm a big fan of the "converted loft" look for an apartment...brick walls, open beam ceilings, etc...and so I loved the decorating ideas that PureWow sent out for "industrialized" décor. They highlighted several companies and my favorite was Oilfield Slang out of Dallas, TX. They use reclaimed wood, steel and pipe and turn it into awesome home décor, such as the Bertha Industrial Garment Rack, Belly Pipe Bookracks (an example pictured above) and some cool Coat Racks.

Pros: It's a family owned business in Texas, EST. 2012 and they're creations are made from "old, salvage mediums and those in raw form...of reclaimed material handmade to perfection." Small business, recycling and made in the USA...always cool.

Cons: They range in price from expensive to crazy expensive. The Two Bulb Sconce is $189.29...the Industrial Corner Pipe Shelf is $238.09...and the extensive Mancaves Industrial Pipe Bookshelf for $3.050.27.

If nothing else they have a lot of cool things to look at and provide some very interesting decorating ideas!

Enjoy and happy Tuesday! :)

P.S. Wish me luck...tomorrow is the first day of session, so life will be officially crazy for the next four months! :)
