Writing on the wall...

I am in love with the room. The bed looks comfortable (so many pillows!)...it has a great spot for reading (who doesn't love the idea of a couch in their bedroom?!)...the smaller windows tucked away in an alcove allow some natural light in, but not a ton...a freaking chandelier!...and of course, the (literal) writing on the wall!

The possibilities are endless for what you could write on a wall like that! Your favorite poem...the song from the first dance at your wedding...passages from an epic book or play! Anything!! :)

Here are a couple options that I came up with:

Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you.
I've seen the paths that your eyes wander down
I want to come too

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you

No one understands me quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me

I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop
I love so much
All of the while I never knew
I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop
I love so much
All of the while I never knew

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you.
I've seen the waters that make your eyes shine
Now I'm shining too

Because oh because
I've fallen quite hard over you

If I didn't know you, I'd rather not know
If I couldn't have you, I'd rather be alone

I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop
I love so much
All of the while I never knew
I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop
I love so much
All of the while, I never knew

All of the while, all of the while,
it was you

That would look cool on a wall, right? :)

I've been trying to find a section in either An Ideal Husband or The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde to include, but his boundless brilliance is such that I cannot pull out a short enough passages to feasibly inscribe upon a wall! Perhaps just a medley of his best quotes?

"Ordinary riches can be stolen; real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you."
"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead."
"Who, being loved, is poor?"
"No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist."
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
"Women are made to be loved, not understood."
"Men always want to be a woman's first love - women like to be a man's last romance."
"The truth is rarely pure and never simple."
"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."
"I am not young enough to know everything."
"Man is a rational animal who always loses his temper when he is called upon to act in accordance with the dictates of reason."
"If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all."
"The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what fiction means."
"Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months."
"I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying."
"If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life."
"I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best."

I know, I know...I have a writer-crush on Oscar Wilde. But what can I say? Everything he wrote was utter genius...and I am jealous & in aw of his infinite abilities as a author.

If you had a wall like this and decided to embark on a similar project, what would you paint (stencil, write, etc) upon it?
