Focus@will
Music...nice, quiet background music. Relaxing piano...gentle strumming of a guitar...great for settling back for a peaceful break or as white noise while you're concentrating on work.
This is exactly what you will find at focus@will, the latest music streaming service.
Purewow sent out an email reviewing focus@will, which intrigued me enough to check it out. The idea behind it is very interesting...they specifically choose music to help you concentrate. The songs/pieces have been selected to offer "precise length, speed, intensity and, yes, blandness optimal for staying in the zone." They have several different categories...Classical, Focus Spa (kinda new age-y), Up Tempo, Alpha Chill, Acoustical, Cinematic (yes, it does sound a bit like a movie soundtrack) and Ambient. I liked the Classical and Acoustical stations best, to provide nice, non-intrusive background music.
You can stream 100 minutes free and then it's $4 a month. I like having background music play when I'm at work or doing thing around the house, so I would be tempted to sign up for focus@will, if I didn't already have a paid subscription to Pandora (huge fan!).
Enjoy and happy listening!
