A reflection on weather...

Mini-rant to ensue...consider yourself warned!
I am not a fan of "weather."

I'm fine coexisting with it when it does not disturb me/my day, but once any amount of interaction begins, I am not a happy camper.

Here's an example of acceptable coexistence: waking up on a Saturday morning and finding the world has turned into a winter wonderland during the night. If I have no plans, I am capable of appreciating the sparkling snow and icicle-covered trees while wrapped up in a warm, fluffy blanket and sipping a cup of hot chocolate.

Unacceptable interaction: the clouds waiting to begin pelting the earth with rain til 7:45-8am, ie. as I'm driving & walking into work, leaving me soggy, annoyed and looking like a wet rat for the remainder of the morning. (grrr)

Or storming over Las Vegas on the day I'm supposed to fly home from San Diego, causing a delay long enough that I would have missed my connection, forcing me to reschedule my flight for the next day, which means I missed another day of work and lost a precious day of enjoying the house to myself (a rare luxury).

I like non-humid, warm weather...anywhere between 70º-90º with a slight breeze is about perfect to me. You can keep your thunderstorms, lightning, raging winds, torrential downpours, tornadoes, freezing rain, ice and snow...give me a peaceful, breezy morning any time!

Ok...I'm done. For now. :)

Here's wishing you a lovely weather day! :)
