I posted a link to this dress - the Multi Stripe Bandage Dress by LILY - when I discovered the store Hot Mama, but I hadn't said anything about it specifically, because I hadn't worn it yet. I plan to remedy that now because (guess what?!) I wore it to work today! :)
I am a huge fan of bandage dresses (believe it or not, the definition appears in the Oxford dictionary online) and with this purchase I now own two (a picture of the other one is below the Hot Mama pic).
Despite being striped, this fully lined LILY dress hugs all the right curves, creating a flattering, feminine silhouette. It's light weight enough to wear in the summer, but would also look great with boots and a jeans jacket once Fall graces us with its presence.
Today I paired it with a black sweater (which I took off as soon as I got to work because it's warm) and a multi-strand silver and black necklace from Charming Charlie, a lot like the one pictured on the model.
The bandage dress below is from Anthropologie and was made in the USA by Bailey 44. It's hard to tell from this photo, but the dress is a dark cranberry color with off-white stripes.
