Bucket List - Pinterest

Bucket List

I like the idea of having a "Bucket List." There are fun things that I would love to do or have and even if I never see them or own them, having a list to look at and check off keeps things entertaining.

I created a couple bucket list boards on Pinterest...Bucket List (the to-do list), Bucket List-Completed! (the checked off list) and Bucket List-Fictional (silly, random things that could never happen but I wish would). I started following some other people's "Bucket List" boards for ideas, plus they're good resources for adding things to my list! I like having it on Pinterest too, because you have a picture to go with each entry, instead of just words. How boring would this look?

- Learn how to skate backwards
- Sing a duet with Adele
- Have drinks with a celebrity
- Go to the Galapagos Islands
- Visit Pixar Studios
✓Breathe in helium
✓Make a wish at the Trevi Fountain in Rome
✓ Adopt an animal
✓Go on a family vacation

Sure, it gets the point across, but since the whole point of having a bucket list is to be fun and exciting, why not make it special? Plus, it's always nice to have a visual...something pretty to look at and then move to the "completed" list once you've accomplished it.

I was looking at my "Bucket List" board and (surprise, surprise) I think the category with the greatest number of pins would have to be travel. In a cursory scroll down the board, I noticed at least seven different places I want to visit: the Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, London, Naples, Bora Bora, Times Square and Buckingham Palace. Needless to say, I enjoy traveling and would do so constantly if I were independently wealthy! :)

So have some fun and come up with your own Bucket List, be it just on paper or via something like Pinterest!
