Hot Mama

When I was at The Plaza this weekend I found a new store called Hot Mama. While a rather annoying name, it is a fun little store. It's small-ish and has a definite boutique feel...like Francesca's, only better. Some of their clothes had a distinct Anthropologie feel to them - admittedly because they sell brands like Bailey 44, which I love.

I bought a couple of fun things, thanks to a promotion they had running. Because it was their "Grand Opening" weekend, the first 50 people in the store got $25 gift certificates, plus 10% off.

I ended up buying four things, but could only find two of them on their website.

Ponte Blazer by MATTY M - this is a lot cuter in person than online. It's very comfortable, lined and easy to dress up or down. I bought it in the Heather, but I was tempted to get it in Lagoon.

Multi Stripe Bandage Dress by LILY - I have to admit, I'm a huge fan of bandage dresses. They are so flattering. I have a long one in Maroon by Bailey 44 that I love...so I thought it would be nice to have a short sleeve one to wear in the spring/summer.

The manager ended up picking out three out of the four things I bought, which is very unusual. I had grabbed a few things and she stuck a couple other things in my dressing room for me to take a look at, which I usually find annoying. But she was spot on in sizing up my taste, which worked out well for both of us! :)

The website has a "Look Book" which is nice to check out for ideas!

Check it out and enjoy!
